I was browsing the great photos over at RetroMacCast today when I came across this:
It kind of reminds me of those Apple III key cufflinks that came out a while back. (Sadly, they seem to be out of stock). Assuming this isn’t a mockup or nice Photoshop job, I want one. Really, really want one. Here’s a link to the full page.
Sadly, this is not a retail product but a DIY one. Here are the instructions in their native French and in Google English.
@Ken: Yeah, I knew it was a DIY. Thanks for providing the link to the instructions. It always concerns me – just a little – when I see stuff like this. Not as much with the stuff that uses more recent Mac bits, but somewhere out there, at least one Apple /// keyboard was sacrificed to make a set of nifty cufflinks…
they are idiotproof to make
1) get a key
2) get a pen drive
3) hot glue
4) ????
5) profit

@apple dude: unless you’re an idiot of my level. Trust me, this is beyond my technical capability. Soldering irons, glue guns, screwdrivers – all implements of destruction in my hands. Thanks for the pointer, though!
